The East Sussex (Public Footpath Ringmer 10 (part))
(Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025
To protect public safety during refurbishment and associated construction works of Clayhill House, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following footpath:
Temporary Footpath Closure
Part of Public Footpath Ringmer 10 will be closed to all users between TQ 4444 1442 and TQ 4462 1432 for a distance of 210 metres. An alternative route will be available around the south of Clayhill House.
The closure will be in force for 6 months from 20 September 2025, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier, which after this period will require an extension from the Secretary of State, should the footpath still be unavailable to use.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Marklye Lane – for its entire length.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 8 September 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 8 September 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Bakery Lane – from the junction with B2096 Battle Road to the junction with U7599 Flitterbrook Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2096 Battle Road – U7599 Flitterbrook Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 9 September 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 9 September 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Station Street – from the junction with B2193 Station Road to the junction with A277 High Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2193 Station Road, Priory Street, Southover High Street – C7 Bell Lane, Winterbourne Hollow – A277 Western Road, High Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 8 September 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 09:00hrs to 15:00hrs between 8 and 12 September 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.
