A515 Greenlow, Alsop En Le Dale - Temporary Road Closure For New Water Connection

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A515 GREENLOW, ALSOP EN LE DALE

WHEN: Sunday 21 September and Sunday 28 September 2025 (between 08:00 to 18:00 each Sunday only)
WHERE: A515 Greenlow, Alsop En Le Dale at Oulds Barn and 500m south from Jct. with Crosslow Lane.
REASON: To facilitate new water connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From north off A515 at Newhaven turn east onto A5012 Via Gellia, at Grange Mill turn south onto B5056, at A515 turn north.

From south at Fenny Bentley turn north onto B5056, at Grange Mill turn west onto A5012, at Newhaven turn south onto A515.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. 

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
