Farnham Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - FARNHAM ROAD, STEEP, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Farnham Road between its junction with Mill Lane and a point approximately 560 Metres North of said junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: School Lane, Waterworks Road, Steep Hill, Church Road, Mill Lane, Rockpits Lane, Steep Marsh Lane, Burntash Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 15th September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days, working between the hours 09:30 - 15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
