What is happening?

SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER/S – PUBLIC NOTICES OF MAKING NOTICE is here by given that Shropshire Council (“TheCouncil”) have made an Order/sunder Section14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (asamended), the effect of which is to restrict the use of roads as stated below. The Order/s for regulationis/are required for the purpose/s as stated below. There are exemptions in the Order/s to permit pedestrian access (and/or vehicular access at the discretion of the Council or Statutory Undertaker) to any land or premises having a frontage to the said highway affected where there is no other form of access, and to any access allowing the necessary works to beunder taken. Access will be maintained for cyclists, pedestrians and dismounted horse riders unless stated below. The alternative route/s for those affected by the proposal/s is/are as stated below. The Order/s came into force on 8th September 2025 and will remain inforce for a maximum period of eighteen months (unless extended upon the direction of the Secretary of State) or until any said works are completed, which ever is earlier. However, it is expected that the Order/s will only be operative for the duration as stated below.
