Manchester - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic For Carriageway Surface Dressing

What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
 TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):

ORDER NO. MCC145356502: The City of Manchester (St Brannocks Road, Badmington Road, Merseybank Avenue, Caldervale Avenue, Chorlton Park Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on St Brannocks Road, Badmington Road, Merseybank Avenue, Caldervale Avenue. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Loacally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway surface dressing. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 18th September 2025 to 5th October 2025. The order shall come into operation on 18th September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 5th September 2025.

MCC145372060: The City of Manchester (Wincanton Avenue, Cranleigh Drive, Wendonver Road, & Chesterton Road, Brooklands Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Wincanton Avenue, Cranleigh Drive, Wendonver Road, & Chesterton Road,. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Carriageway surface dressing. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 19th September 2025 to 5th October 2025. The order shall come into operation on 19th September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
