Lippetts Way, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Shapwick Temporary Closure of Lippetts Way
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Lippetts Way - from 623 metres north-west of the junction with Wood Lane, north-westwards for a total distance of 46 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 16th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd September 2025 and last until 26th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
