Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF DARTFORD)
(VARIOUS TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER (AMENDMENT No.1B) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3, 4, 19, 65(1), 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and having regard to Section 122 of the Act, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all vehicles from entry except buses on the following length of road in Dartford:-
WILLIAM MUNDY WAY – Over the River Darent change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses and Cycles.
The Order was made on 11 September 2025 and its provisions will come into effect on 12 September 2025.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
DOVER AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, DOVER) (SPEED LIMITS) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER (AMENDMENT No.1) ORDER 2025
Notice is given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter referred to as the Act) and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order.
The effect of the order would be to change the speed limit of 50MPH to national on the following length of roads in Eastry, Dover:-
A256 EASTRY BYPASS – From the roundabout with Dover Road, Cater Road and A256 Whitfield Bypass for a distance of 150 metres in a northeasterly direction. A256 WHITFIELD BYPASS – From its junction with Dover Road for a distance of 850 metres in a south westerly direction on the south bound carriage way only. DOVER ROAD – From its junction with the A256 Whitfield Bypass for a distance of 85 metres in a northerly direction. STRAIGHT MILE – From its junction with the A256 Whitfield Bypass for a distance of 35 metres in an easterly direction.

(AMENDMENT No.5) ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority, in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 as amended and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-
The effect of the Order is to school keep clear markings between 8-9am and 3-4pm Mon-Fri on the following length of road in Maidstone:-
BICKNOR ROAD - SKC – On south east side across the entrance to Holy Family RC Primary School for a distance of 35 metres.
The Order was made on 11 September 2025 and its provisions will come into effect on 12 September 2025.

ORDER 2025
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that the KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the above listed Order.
The effect of the made named Order will be to consolidate all Speed Limit restrictions in the District of Sevenoaks and to present the location of the existing restrictions in a new map schedule and to specify each type of restriction so presented in a map schedule legend.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that the KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the above listed Order.
