What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

B9002 RHYNIE – TEMPORARY CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (B9002 Rhynie – 08.09.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The order will operate from 08.09.25 for 9 days and will prohibit any vehicle from driving on the B9002 Rhynie from Junction A97 to Tamduff.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary closure is necessary in the interests of public safety during duct laying works and clearing of potential blockages. An alternative route is available via the B9002 – A941 – A97 – B9002 and vice versa.
