What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 - Town Centre On-Street Parking

Suspensions

The Council has made an order, operative from 1st September 2025 for 18 months, the effect of which will be to temporarily suspend (as and when required by roadworks or events) on-street parking and loading facilities within the area bounded by Topp Way, St Peters Way, Bradford Street, Bridgeman Place, Trinity Street, Moor Lane, Marsden Road, St Georges Road and to also promote no waiting and no loading restrictions within said lengths of suspensions.

Further details of the provisions of the order including the lengths of road to which restrictions apply may be viewed on our website. The order will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date.
