Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 29 August 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- (a) Burnt Hill Road (D5300) Wrecclesham Farnham as extends from its junction with Upper Bourne Lane (X84052) to its junction with Twyford Lane (X84079); (b) Kings Road (D5520) Haslemere as extends from the eastern boundary of the property known as “34A Kings Road” to the western boundary of the property known as “44 Kings Road”; (c) Burnt Hill Road (D5300) Lower Bourne Farnham as extends from its junction with Celery Lane (X67659) to the western boundary of the property known as “53 Burnt Hill Road”; and (d) suspend “The Surrey County Council Burnt Hill Road (D5300) Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it relates to (a) above.
Alternative Route – (a) and (c) Burnt Hill Road, A287 (Frensham Road), B3384 (Ridgway Road and Shortheath Road) and Burnt Hill Road, or this route in reverse. (b) Kings Road, B2131 (Wey Hill and Lower Street), A286 (Shepherds Hill and Midhurst Road), A287 (Bell Road and Sturt Road) and Kings Road, or this route in reverse.This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate sewer cleaning, sewer replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 September 2025 in three phases. Kings Road closure is expected to commence on 16 September for 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Burnt Hill Road Wrecclesham closure is expected to commence on 19 September for 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm and again on 6 October for 4 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.00pm. Burnt Hill Road Lower Bourne closure is expected to commence on 25 October for 8 days between the hours 8.00am and 5.00pm, although restrictions will be in place for 24-hours per day. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

D113 Fifield Lane and D114 Kennel Lane, Frensham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 3 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works and/or major maintenance, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 9 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

B2131 Petworth Road, Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 3 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in that length of B2131 Petworth Road, Haslemere which extends from Rodgate Lane to its junction with A286 High Street (Haslemere). This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching and/or surface dressing and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 8 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. A287 Churt Road, Hindhead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 3 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in that length of A287 Churt Road, Hindhead which extends from its junction with Corry Road to its junction with Kitts Lane. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching and/or surface dressing and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 8 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Tilford Road (C28) Churt Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Tilford Road (C28) Churt Farnham as extends from its junction with Hale House Lane (D127) to its junction with Green Lane (D131).
Alternative Route – Tilford Road, Jumps Road, A287 (Churt Road), Beacon Hill Road and Tilford Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate pole testing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 September 2025 for 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
