THE M62 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 28)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National

Highways Limited has made an Order on the M62 Motorway, in West Yorkshire, to enable gas replacement works to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to start on Thursday  11 September 2025 for 6 nights, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.

The effect of the Order will be, at times during the works, to close the M62 westbound entry slip road at Junction 28 (Tingley) during which times a suitably signed alternative route will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition. The Order comes into force on  10 September 2025 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
