What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
MAIN ROAD, BRENTINGBY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of
12 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 12 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake highway drainage repairs. The proposed diversion route will be via: Main Rd, Brentingby, Main Rd, From B676 Saxby Rd to Main St, Wyfordby, B676 & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 03/10/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway resurfacing repair works.
The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

Harby Ln, Plungar from the access into Windy Ridge Farm up to the boundary for Barkestone Ln.

Harby Ln on both sides from property No. 16 up to the Barkestone Ln boundary, Barkestone Ln on both sides for its entire length – Plungar. Plungar Ln, Barkestone Le Vale on both sides from the village speed limit signs due East up to the Chapel St Jct.

The Order will come into force on 11/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 5 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake a utility installation in the highway. There is no diversion route available.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecoms pole testing. The proposed diversion route will be via: Stapleford Rd, Wyfordby Ln, Stapleford; Main Rd, Wyfordby; Main Rd, Brentingby; B676 & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 08/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow National Grid to undertake a utility installation. The proposed diversion route will be via: Castle View Rd, A52, Belvoir Rd, Market St, Grantham Rd, Easthorpe Rd, Manor Rd, Bottesford & vice versa.
