What is happening?

WAKEFIELD COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(LOW MOOR LANE, WOOLLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 268) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new water main to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Low Moor Lane, Woolley, from 23A to the junction with Woolley Low Moor Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Low Moor Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Stoney Lane, Bolton Wife Hill, Intake Lane, Woolley Low Moor Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 8th September 2025 to 17th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(FAIRWAY MEADOWS, NORMANTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 270) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for micro surfacing programme September 25 to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Fairway Meadows,

Normanton. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Fairway Meadows.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th September 2025 to 17th September 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible

(DENNINGTON LANE, WOOLLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 280) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for installation of new water main to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Dennington Lane, Woolley at the junction with Woolley Low Moor Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Dennington Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Bretton Lane, Bramley Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd September 2025 to 17th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WOOLLEY LOW MOOR LANE, WOOLLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 281) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for installation of new water main to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Woolley Low Moor Lane, Woolley from the junction with Low Moor Lane to the junction with Daw Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Woolley Low Moor Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Low Moor Lane, Stoney Lane, Painthorpe Lane, Daw Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd September 2025 to 24th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(THIRLMERE ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 283) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for new electric service connection to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Thirlmere Road,

Wakefield for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Thirlmere Road. ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Denhale Avenue, Thorpe View, Langdale Drive, Thirlmere Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 20th September 2025 to 26th October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(WESTWAYS, WRENTHORPE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 289) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Westways, Wrenthorpe, one way for approximately 9 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Westways.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No entry to traffic from Wrenthorpe Road, diversion route to be provided via Valley Drive.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 22nd September 2025 to 3rd October 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
