What is happening?

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Ring Road Weetwood, Leeds)
(Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit Order) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because tree cutting and telecoms pole installation works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends Iin not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to travel in excess of 40MPH along Ring Road Weetwood, Leeds, in an eastbound direction for a distance of 90m from its junction with Lawnswood Roundabout. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 18th Sept 2025 and will remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The Speed Limit reduction is expected to be in place: 1. From 20:00 hrs on Thursday 18th September until 05:00 hrs Friday 19th September 2025, and 2. From 20:00 hrs in the evening to 05:00 hrs the following morning, during the period Monday 22nd September until Saturday 27th Sept 2025. K Krawczyk Ref: ECO2500231
(Low Common, Methley, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Yorkshire Water infrastructure works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to travel along Low Common in the Kippax & Methley Ward, from a point adjacent to 24 Low Common, in a southerly direction along the adopted highway. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 15th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 21st September 2025. G Pugh. Ref: ECO2500242
(Silver Street, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because building works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Silver Street, Leeds, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward from its junction with Water Lane to its end. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on
Friday 12th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 31st August 2026.The closure will be in place for

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because essential infrastructure improvement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along sections of the following streets in the Lidgett Park and Roundhay area of Leeds: Allerton Grove; Earlswood Ave; High Moor Ave; Kedleston Rd Kingswood Gdns; Lime Tree Ave; Norton Rd; Park Villas; Shaftesbury Ave & Westcombe Ave. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available and signposted. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 15th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The overall works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 11th February 2026. The individual closures will be in place between 08:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs on each day. K Krawczyk. Ref: ECO2500235
(Compton View, Harehills, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works to excavate and repair sewer are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to travel along Compton View, Harehills, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward, adjacent to property numbers 2 to 8 Compton View. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Florence Street, Compton Avenue and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 16th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 23rd September 2025. The closure will be in place 24 hours per day. G Pugh.

(Mabgate, Sheepscar, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Parking) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) and safe access to and from the development site is required, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to park in those parking bays situated along Mabgate, Sheepscar, Leeds; between its junctions with Argyle Road and Lincoln Green Road (opposite the Leeds City College Mabgate Campus building). The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 16th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 31st July 2026.
The parking bays suspension will be in place between 06:00 hours and 19:00 hours only, each day. A Coultate. Ref: ECO2500232
