What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Hay Lane, Fulmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hay Lane for approx. 200M. The closure is required whilst Fibre works commence on 3 September 2025.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Farthing Green Lane, Stoke Poges) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Farthing Green Lane for approx. 109M. Alternative route: Farthing Green Lane, Stoke Poges Footpath 50, Grays Park Road, Bells Hill, Hollybush Hill, Framewood Road, Wexham Street and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Fibre works commence on 1st September 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Ninnings Road, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Ninnings Road for approx. 53M. Alternative route: Copthall Lane, Denham Lane, Joiners Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst gas mains replacement commences on 8 September 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Public Bridleway No. 79/2, Parish of Bedlow Cum Saunderton)
(Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2025 made on 7 March 2025, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 7 September 2026. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in Public Bridleway No. 79/2, Bedlow Cum Saunderton, from the junction of Public Bridleway No. 79/2 & West Lane and continues south to the junction with Icknield, whilst works take place to fix the failed surface of the Bridleway. There is no alternative route.
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Public Footpath No.148/1, Parish of High Wycombe) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of HWU FP 148/1 & Glynwood and continues north for approx. 150M. There is no alternative route. The closure is required to enable the widening of the footpath to 3M. The Order will come into operation on 10 September 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
