NOTICE OF PROPOSAL

THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD

(WATFORD CENTRAL LEISURE CENTRE OFF STREET PARKING PLACE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for Hertfordshire County Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Authorities Act 2000 and in exercise of powers conferred on that Council under Sections 32, 33 & 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers.

The general effect of this order is to

A) To amend the facility on how users obtain a parking session within the Watford Central Leisure Centre Car Park, which will now require users to enter their vehicle registration mark into a Parking Terminal located inside the Watford Central Leisure Centre upon arrival and

B) Introduce four blue badge parking bays within the Watford Central Leisure Centre Car Park.

Representations of support or objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the undersigned at the Watford Borough Council, Town Hall, Watford, WD17 3EX, or by email to parkingconsultation@watford.gov.uk

The deadline for the receipt of objections or representations of support is 23:59 on Friday 19th September 2025
