What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 2/9/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Gravelly Ln, Stonnall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144355656. The Order will come into operation on 8/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the joint hole and high voltage works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Pouk Ln, Hilton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144354330. The Order will come into operation on 11/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the poling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 16/09/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding along:

Forge St, Cannock. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144624964. The Order will come into operation on 22/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 3/10/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Birch Terrace, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144773562. The Order will come into operation on 22/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the joint hole/excavation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Church Hill, near Weeford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144523865. The Order will come into operation on 23/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 26/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the service connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
