ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
C136 HESLEYHURST JUNCTION TO
LONGHORSLEY, LONGHORSLEY
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C136 Hesleyhurst Junction to Longhorsley from its point at the entrance to High Stables for a distance of 679 metres in an easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2025 until the 22nd March 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 22nd September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 22nd March 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C136, C141, C142, C144, A197, A1, A697, C136 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

C90 GARMINTEDGE BANK TO BRIDGE OF
ALN WHITTINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C90 Garmintedge Bank to Bridge of Aln Whittingham from its junction with the A697 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 513 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2025 until the 7th October 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd September 2025 until the 23rd September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A697,B6341, C90 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C102 ACKLINGTON JUNCTION TO
GUYZANCE LEE JUNCTION ACKLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C102 Acklington Junction to Guyzance Lee Junction Acklington for a distance of 117 metres in a westerly direction from its junction with the B6345 continuing on for a further 170 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd September 2025 until the 21st March 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd September 2025 until the 26th September 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st March 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6345, C102, U3040 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6067 FOURTH AVENUE MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6067 Fourth Avenue Morpeth from its junction with Third Avenue for a distance of 16 metres in a south-westerly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 12th September 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 10th September 2025 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 12th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Third Avenue, First Avenue, Shields Road, Fourth Avenue and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water for cleansing and patch repair of a sewer. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

B1337 GRANGEMOOR ROAD
WIDDRINGTON STATION
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1337 Grangemoor Road for a distance of 37 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective on the 13th September 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 13th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1337, A1068, A197, B1337 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6014 CLIFTON LANE CLIFTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 2 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6014 Clifton Lane Clifton from its junction with Clifton crossing for a distance of 235 metres in a south-westerly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 12th September 2025 until the 15th September 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th September 2025 at 22:40 hours until the 15th September 2025 at 06:20 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place for the remainder of the day on the 15th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U6014, U9076, A1, B1337, A192, U6014 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Core Highways due to engineering trains being positioned over the level crossing for long periods of time blocking road access over the crossing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

PARISH OF ALWINTON PUBLIC FOOTPATH
NUMBER 57
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Alwinton Public Footpath Number 57, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows:
Parish of Alwinton Public Footpath Number 57
From a point 70 metres north-east of Barrow at the junction with Public Bridleway No 37 in an easterly direction for a distance of 625 metres, crossing the Barrow Burn, via a footbridge, to join Parish of Harbottle Public Footpath No 1, on the south side of the Barrow Burn, 460 metres north-west of Angryhaugh.

The remainder of the footpath leading to access land remains available if accessed from alternative routes.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 8th March 2026.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland National Park Authority in the interests of public safety to facilitate works to replace the footbridge over the Barrow Burn.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
C65 RAYHEUGH JUNCTION TO NORTH
SUNDERLAND JUNCTION
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force on the C65 Rayheugh Junction to North Sunderland Junction.

Temporary Road Closure:-

A temporary road closure has continued to be in force and all users will be prohibited to use the C65 Rayheugh Junction to North Sunderland Junction from its junction with the C66 West Fleetham to Newham Hall Junction for a distance of 1230 metres in a north-easterly direction (“the road”) in the County of Northumberland. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C66, C68, C389, C65 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on the 27th August 2025 and will remain in force until the 5th September 2025. The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate to locate and repair a leak on the main.
