What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CRAFTY FLATS LANE, COTON IN THE ELMS

WHEN: 23 September to 26 September 2025.
WHERE: Crafty Flats Lane, Coton in the Elms from its Jct. with Coal Pit Lane for an approx. distance of 525m east.
REASON: To facilitate installation and maintenance of telecommunication assets.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Unnamed Road from C181 to C17 Linton Road, Linton Road, Coton Lane, Burton Road, Chapel Street, Coalpit Lane and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
