Unnamed Road From Botany Bay To High Street Linton, Grangewood, Swadlincote - Temporary Road Closure For Installation And Maintenance Of Fibre Assets

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED ROAD FROM BOTANY BAY TO HIGH STREET LINTON, GRANGEWOOD, SWADLINCOTE

WHERE: Unnamed Road from Botany Bay to High Street  Linton, Grangewood, Swadlincote from its Jct. with the  crest for an approx. distance of 1.5km west.
REASON: To facilitate installation and maintenance of  fibre assets
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street, Cauldwell Road,  Linton Road, Unnamed Road from C181 to C17 Linton  Road and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,  on the affected length of road. The road will re- open as  soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than  advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring  Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council  intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road  Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its  use by traffic.
