Wiltshire, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C360 (Part), Warminster; from its junction with High Street to its entrance with Morrisons Car Park to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via C360 (unaffected length) – B3414 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59 for 4 weekdays. B) Highbury Park, Warminster; from its junction with Woodcock Road to its junction with Boreham Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Boreham Road – Woodcock Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 5 days. C) Portal Avenue (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Leafy Lane for a distance of approximately 38m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out mains connection works and other associated works. Alternative route via Portal Avenue (unaffected length) – Dowding Avenue – Trenchard Avenue – Leafy Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 September 2025 and the closure will be required to 30 September 2025. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6003600.
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
D) C250 (Part), Bromham; from its junction with the Right of Way known as Footpath 41, Bromham for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out works to repair the defective tarmac surround of manhole cover and other associated works. Alternative route via C250 (unaffected length) – A342 – Hawkstreet – C250 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 for 2 days. E) C150 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with C163 for a distance of approximately 32m in a south easterly direction to enable JSM Group Services Limited to carry out trial hole works and other associated works. Alternative route via C150 (unaffected length) – C163 – B3353 – C157 – C150 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 09 August 2025 will now recommence on 06 September 2025 and the closure will be required for 2 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Phase 1: Storridge Road (Part), Heywood and Westbury; from its junction with The Ham to its junction with Quartermaster Road.
Phase 2: Storridge Road (Part), Westbury; from its junction with Quartermaster Road to its junction with Headquarters Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway patching and associated works.
Alternative route phase 1 via: Quartermaster Road – Link Road – B3097 and vice versa.
Alternative route phase 2 via Headquarters Road – The Ham – Quartermaster Road and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

A) C20 (Part), Market Lavington; from its junction with A360 for a distance of approximately 900m in a south easterly direction.
B) C20 (Part), Market Lavington; from its junction with A360 for a distance of approximately 230m in a north westerly direction.
C) A360 (Part), Market Lavington; from a point approximately 250m north of its junction with Cheverell Road for a distance of approximately 145m in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway patching works – carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings, adjustment of ironworks, drainage and traffic signal installation and associated works.
Alternative route via Ledge Hill – Spin Hill – Parsonage Lane – Grove Road – The Spring – Lavington Lane – High Street and vice versa.
The closures, general restriction and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 03 September 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 until 10 October 2025. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users:
Bridleway 6 (Part), Sutton Veny; from its junction with Footpath 8, Sutton Veny for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction to enable tree works to take place.
No alternative route is available.
The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 05 September 2025 and the closure will be required until 03 March 2026. The Order will have a maximum duration of 06 months.
