What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Higher Westholme Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Higher Westholme Road - from the junction with Whitstone Hill, north-westwards for a total distance of 69 metres.

This Order will enable Bristol Water to carry out new connection works.

The Order becomes effective on 18th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd September 2025 and last until 25th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
