(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 202_

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the A5 Trunk Road in the City of Milton Keynes in the County of Buckinghamshire to allow nearby platform works at Milton Keynes Central Railway Station to be carried out in safety.

The works are expected to last for approximately 6 months starting on, or after, Saturday  27 September 2025.

The effect of the Order would be to close, for 24 hours daily, the lay-by adjacent to the southbound carriageway of the A5, situated at a point approximately 478 metres south of the A509 Portway Junction.

The closure (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer, works or winter maintenance vehicles) would be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

The Order would come into force on 22 September 2025 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
