What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse Traffic, Public Bridleway 15.109/9/2 & 15.109/8/1, Plompton, Order 2025 No. 305

We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or person riding or leading a horse from using Public Bridleways 15.109/9/2 & 15.109/8/1 in the Parish of Plompton, between grid reference SE35185479, SE35555409 & SE34955367 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 10/09/25 & 09/02/26, due to filming on the route with potential danger to the public. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Harper Lane, Thornthwaite, Order 2025, No. 327 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Harper Lane, Thornthwaite for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 25/09/25 & 08/10/25, due to bridge improvement works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 25/10/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
