Fordstead Lane from its junction with Thorpe Bank to its junction
with Marsh Lane that forms part of the diversion route.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED
BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT
1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Wembley Road at
Moorends in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst junction improvement works to are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Wembley Road, South Road, West
Road, Marshland Road.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of December 2025 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been

SCHEDULE
Location
Wembley Road, Moorends from its junction with Marshland Road
in an easterly direction for distance of 40 meters. One way
closure in a westbound direction only.
Dates and Times
08:00hrs 15th September 2025 until 15:00hrs 18th December
2025.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although all
closures to be completed by the 31st December 2025

PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED
BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT
1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council

workforce whilst works to deliver a modular housing extension
and lift into position using a crane are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Chiltern Crescent, Folder Lane.
