Coronation Avenue - Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles Order

What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE 

(CORONATION AVENUE, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding & waiting at anytime along; 

(i) Coronation Avenue from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Arnold Avenue for a distance of 243 metres. The Order is required to facilitate full carriage way resurfacing within the carriageway. 

The Order will be operative daily from 09:30 until 15:30 from the 29th September 2025 to the 13th October 2025. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road, Queen Elizabeth Way, Middleton Road & vice versa.
