HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1.  Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 12fed Medi 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 12fed Medi 2025 a’r 14eg Medi 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 20:00 – 06:00 (gwaith dros nos).  

2. Mae angen y Gorchymyn  er mwyn gwneud gwaith yn gosod ceblau mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.   Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o Gyfnewidfa Magwyr, Cylchfan Gwasanaethau Magwyr, A4810, Magwyr, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â'r ffordd ymuno tua'r Gorllewin i'r gyffordd â'r ffordd ymadael tua'r dwyrain, pellter cau tua ~100m.  

4. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn:-  

l. Ar gyfer Gwasanaethau'r M4 tua'r Dwyrain a Magwyr - yr M4 tua'r gorllewin (Cyffordd 23a i Gyffordd 24), Cylchfan Coldra, C24, Cyffordd 24 yr M4 i gyffordd 23 yr M4, cyffordd 23a yr M4 o'r slipffordd oddi ar Gyffordd 24 tua'r dwyrain.    

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Cyfnewidfa Magwyr, Cylchfan Gwasanaethau Magwyr, A4810, Magwyr,  Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE
SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(MAGOR INTERCHANGE, MAGOR SERVICES ROUNDABOUT, A4810, MAGOR, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 12th September 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 12th September 2025 and 14th September 2025, operating between 20:00 – 06:00 (night works).  

2. The order is necessary for cable installation works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of Magor Interchange, Magor Services Roundabout, A4810, Magor, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Westbound on slip to its junction with Eastbound off slip, approx distance of closure ~100m.  

4. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:-

l. For M4 Eastbound and Magor Services - M4 westbound (Junction 23a to Junction 24), Coldra Roundabout, J24, M4 Junction 24 to M4 junction 23, M4 junction 23a from Junction 24 eastbound off slip.  

5. This order may be cited as the Magor Interchange, Magor Services Roundabout, A4810, Magor Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
