Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63509 Albert Park Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63509 Albert Park Rd from its junction with U63507 Somers Park Ave to its junction with U63511 Frederick Rd.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U63511 Frederick Rd, C2205 Howsell Rd, U63507 Somers Park Ave and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 3 September 2025.

(C2065 Hopton Lane To Brockamin, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2065 Hopton Ln to Brockamin from its junction with C2245 Hopton Ln for a distance of 100 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: C2245 Hopton Ln, C2064 Ashfield, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064 Suckley Rd, C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford, C2065 Brockamin, C2065 Hopton Ln to Brockamin (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 2 September 2025.

(U63219 Moorlands Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63219 Moorlands Rd from its junction with A449 Worcester Rd to its junction with U63224 Link Terrace.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: A449 Worcester Rd, C2232 Graham Rd, U63219 Moorlands Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days. Commencing: 2 September 2025.

(C2232 Graham Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2232 Graham Rd from its junction with B4211 Church St to its junction with U63202 Broads Bank.

Reason: Remedial water works by STW.

Alternative route: B4211 Church St, U63204 Victoria Rd, U63205 Como Rd, C2232 Graham Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 24 September 2025.

(A449 Wells Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of A449 Wells Rd from its junction with A4104 Little Malvern to its junction with B4232 Jubilee Dr to Malvern Hills Boundary.

Reason: Demolition and rebuilding a collapsed retaining wall by WCC.

Access to frontages will only be possible from West side of site.

No access to emergency services due to excavation work, the diversion route must be maintained for the duration of the works.

Alternative route: Into Herefordshire, A438 Hollybush, B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Marlbank Rd, A4104 Little Malvern and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 236 days (24hrs). Commencing: 1 September 2025.

(C2054 Welland/C2054 Hanley Swan) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of

Closure 1 — C2054 Welland from its junction with B4208 Blackmore Park Dr to its junction with C2054 Hanley Swan.

Closure 2 — C2054 Hanley Swan from its junction with C2054 Welland to its junction with C2214 Gilberts End.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: C2054 Welland Rd (part), B4209 Hanley Rd, B4208 Blackmore Park Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 1 September 2025 and 11 September 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Limited Waiting (Proposal and Revocation) on New Street, Upton Upon Severn]

On 14 August 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to limit waiting 2 hours. No return within 1 hour. Mon-Sat 8am–6pm and to revoke the existing 1 hour limited waiting on the following sides and lengths of road in Upton Upon Severn

New Street (north side):

  • From a point 17.6m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 41.7m in a westerly direction;

  • From a point 70m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 3.8m in a westerly direction.

  • From a point 77.7m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 30.6m in a westerly direction;

    From a point 70m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 3.8m in a westerly direction. From a point 77.7m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 30.6m in a westerly direction;

    From a point 131.5m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 22.4m in a westerly direction.

    New Street (south side): From a point 18.1m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 68.2m in a westerly direction;

    From a point 118.8m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 16m in a westerly direction;

    From a point 141.4m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of 18.6m in a westerly direction.

    The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

    The Order will come into operation on 4 September 2025.

    A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Malvern Hills Public Notice page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.

    The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
