THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING,
LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO 16) ORDER 2025 - TO/R5.3.117
Midlothian Council on 1 September 2025, having considered an Objection received, made the above Order, which will come into force on 15 September 2025. The effects are to apply double yellow line waiting restrictions to a section of Dean Park in Newtongrange, and to relocate a ‘Disabled’ parking bay.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of such Act or of any relevant regulation has not been complied with, may within six weeks from 1 September 2025 apply for this purpose to the Court of Session.

The Council proposes to make an Order to apply double yellow line (all day) restrictions along Old Dalmore Drive in Auchendinny.

The Council proposes to make an Order to make enforceable the double yellow line (all day) restrictions which are already in place within the car park off Abbey Road in Dalkeith.

The Council proposes to make an Order to apply single yellow line (daytime) restrictions on the access road to the Beeslack High School campus in Penicuik. *****
