TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF C52 ROAD UNOFFCIALLY KNOWN AS TAYNTON LANE (TAYNTON PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C52 Road (unofficially known as “Taynton Lane”) from outside ‘Marchfield’, for a distance of approximately 100 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for gully works.
The said road is expected to be closed and restricted each day between 08:30hrs and 15:00hrs from 8th September 2025 until 9th September 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400207 UNLAWATER LANE
(NEWNHAM PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400207 Unlawater Lane Road from its junction with the A48 to its junction with Whetstones for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for manhole works.

The reason for the said closure is for works involving excavations in the highway verge.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carriageway resurfacing works.
There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 22nd September 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the same are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the said closures and restrictions in any order, or simultaneously as required.
