London Borough of Sutton Public Notices

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton on 26 August 2025 made the following Order The Sutton (Moving Traffic Restrictions) (Amendment No. 11) Order 2025 under section 6 and 124 (insofar as applicable) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, and all other powers thereunto enabling.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend 'no access' except For loading/unloading purposes, prohibiting all goods vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle weight exceeding 7.5 tonnes from entering Collingwood Road, Sutton between its junctions with Bushey Road and it north-western junction of Anton Crescent, to enable effective camera enforcement for this length of road, thereby creating an exit route via Collingwood Road between Bushey Road and Crown Road and Crown Road between Collingwood Road and St Nicholas Way.

3. A copy of the Order that will come into force 1 September 2025, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.

4. If Any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
