Dulford Street - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Utility Works

What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES DULFORD STREET

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.

ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.

Hollywood Road to be closed at the junction of Fawcett Street to the junction of Cathcart Road

To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 15th September 2025 until 18.00hrs on Friday 19th September 2025, with backup dates of Monday 22nd September 2025 until Friday 26th September 2025, or until the works are completed.

Diverted through traffic may use Hollywood Road, Fulham Road, Finborough Road, Redcliffe Street, Redcliffe Gardens Tregunter Road, Hollywood Road, or Fawcett Street, Redcliffe Gardens, Fulham Road, Finborough Road, Redcliffe Street, Redcliffe Gardens Tregunter Road, Hollywood Road.

The one-way working on Hollywood Road and Fawcett Street is to be suspended for the duration of these works.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
