What is happening?

Dunbar Avenue, Rutherglen 

Temporary Road Closure Order 2025 

On 26 August 2025 South Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on Dunbar Avenue, Rutherglen, between Richmond Drive and No.28. The Order will be in operation from 9am 24 November 2025 until 5pm 2 December 2025. 

Alternative routes: Northbound traffic via: Richmond Drive, Woodside Avenue, Waverley Drive (vice versa). Southbound traffic via: Richmond Drive, Ettrick Crescent (vice versa).
