(ELIE, PITTENWEEM, ANSTRUTHER & CELLARDYKE - SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2025

Fife Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce speed limits on the roads in Elie, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Cellardyke as follows:-

20 mph speed limit Elie – High St, and Park Pl from High St north for approx. 320m; Pittenweem – Viewforth Pl, James St, Tollcross, and Milton Pl; Anstruther – High Street West, and Elizabeth Pl, and Pittenweem Rd from Dreelside southwest for approx. 556m; St Andrews Rd from Crail Rd north for approx. 654m; Crail Rd from St Andrews Rd northeast for approx. 137; Cellardyke – Crail Rd approx. 70m west of the junction with Ladywalk to the southwest boundary of the Police Station. 

40 mph speed limitElie - A917 approx. 320m north of High St northerly for approx. 414m; and A917 approx. 50m east of the junction with Baird Pl easterly for approx. 585m.

Full details of the proposals may be examined during opening hours at Fife Council Headquarters, Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes and via public access pc’s at your closest library.
