What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Beacon Rd, Ringshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Beacon Rd for approx. 32M. Alternative route: Dunstable Rd, Tring Rd, Leighton Rd, Main Rd North, Ringshall Rd, Little Gaddesden Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Sewer Connection works commence on 15 September 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Ivinghoe Aston, Ivinghoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Ivinghoe Aston for approx. 475M. Alternative route: Slapton Rd, Ivinghoe Aston Rd, Slapton Bridge Ln, Horton Rd, Station Rd, Mentmore Rd, High St, Pitstone Rd, Cheddington Rd, Marsworth Rd, Westfield Rd, Upper Icknield Way, Tring Rd, Dunstable Rd, Ivinghoe Aston and vice versa. The closure is required whilst footway and carriageway works commence on 22 September 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Bridleway Nos. 6 And 7 (Part) Parish of Worminghall and Public Bridleway Nos. 38 and 39 (Part) Parish of Oakley) Public Path Diversion Order 2025 made on 20 August 2025, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public bridleways running from SP64200-10908 SSW for 1224M to SP63879-09731 and, from SP6347909606 NE for 262M to SP63666-09792 then ESE for 673M to SP6431809619 then N for 508M to SP64293-10126 then E for 175M to SP6446610149 as shown by a bold black line on the Order map, to a line running from SP64200-10908 SE for 449M to SP64469-10548 then S for 718M to SP64412-09850 then SW for 1060M to SP63802-09058 as shown by bold black dashes on the Order map with a width of 5M throughout. SP6436710680 and SP64375-10669 will have a width of 1.5M and SP64396-09804 will have a width of 1.45M and, from SP63479-09606 SSE for 539M to SP63683-09111 then SE for 622M to SP64249-08855 then SSW for 295M to SP64146-08592 as shown by bold black dashes on the Order map with a width of 5M throughout. SP64138-08626 will have a width of 1.45M. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA not later than 1 October 2025 or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
