What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN DANCERS HILL ROAD, BARNET) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dancers Hill Road, Barnet from its junction with A1081 St Albans Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A1000 Barnet Road, a distance of approximately 1607m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A1081 St Albans Road and A1000 (High Street/Great North Road/Hadley Green/Hadley Highstone/Great North Road/Barnet Road). ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 September 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (YORK CRESCENT AND ROWLEY LANE, BOREHAMWOOD) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new waiting restrictions in parts of Borehamwood as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be viewed from 28 August 2025 during office hours, at Main Reception, County Hall, Hertford, or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Hertsmere and looking at Ref: H00125.
Objections or other representations, or general enquiries, to the proposals should be made in writing to tro.team@hertfordshire.gov.uk or TRO Services Team, Postal Point (CHO242), Farnham House, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, SG1 2ST by 18 September 2025 stating the grounds on which they are made.
SCHEDULE: No waiting at any time - those sections of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plan -Parts of York Crecent and Rowley Lane.
