What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (GORSEY MOUNT STREET, OFFERTON) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 the effect of which will be to introduce One Way Traffic at Gorsey Mount Street, Offerton From the junction of Athens Street, Offerton to the junction of Webb Lane, Offerton in an easterly direction. (No Entry from Webb Lane, Offerton.).

Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map may be viewed at the following link https://www.stockport.gov.uk/proposedtraffic-regulations-in-your-area Documents are available for viewing at Town Hall Reception Desk, Town Hall, Stockport SK1 3XE.

Any person wishing to object to this proposed Order should write, specifying their grounds for objection, to the undersigned (or by email to Traffic@stockport.gov. uk) on or before 23 September 2025 quoting reference ZA/10678026.
