Passageway Rear Of Hall Meadow - Temporary Closure For Works To Install Fibre Cables
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(PASSAGEWAY REAR OF HALL MEADOW, CHEADLE HULME) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which will be to introduce a Temporary Closure of the passageway rear of Hall Meadow, Cheadle Hulme from rear of 52 to rear of 58, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Order is necessary to allow for works to install fibre cables. It is estimated these works will last 3 days. A diversion will be provided via the passageway side of 30 Chedlee Drive, Service Road at rear of 22 to 30 Cheadle Drive, and vice versa. This Order is to come into operation on 5 November 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
