Medway, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
(NILE ROAD, GILLINGHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out
Nile Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 10 Nile Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Access to properties will be maintained as far as possible. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 6 October 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 6 October 2025 and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(GODDINGTON ROAD, STROOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new electrical connection to be madel connection
Goddington Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between Hillside Avenue and Frindsbury Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Frindsbury Road (A228), Mill Road, Hillside Avenue.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 16 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 16 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 2 days within 6-week window. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(RS328 PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY STROOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary closure to enable upgrading works to be carried out on a section of the Public Right of Way
RS328 Public Right of Way, Strood – to be closed from the start of the PRoW at the Frindsbury Hill eastern footpath to the newly constructed Chalk Lane at Maritime Academy. An alternative route will be available from adjacent to 176 Frindsbury Hill, head north to the Sans Pareil Roundabout, turn into and follow Chalk Lane to reach Maritime Academy.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 22 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 22 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 19 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BEACON HILL, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out
Beacon Hill, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of Rhodes House, Beacon Hill. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Luton High Street, Upper Luton Road, Church Terrace, in both directions.
This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 17 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 17 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out
Academy Drive, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 60 Academy Drive. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available and signed.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 15 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 15 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
