Public Rights of Way Notice

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS

Public Footpath No. 19 (part) and No. 27 parish of Knutsford and Public Footpath No. 4 and No.11 parish of Toft

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 18th December 2025.

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:

That length of Public Footpath No. 19 Knutsford (Part) which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7597 7710 and runs in a generally south east direction for approx. 562 m. to OSGR SJ 7636 7670.

That length of Public Footpath No. 27 Knutsford which commences OSGR SJ 7680 7676 and runs in a generally north east direction for approx. 242 m. to OSGR SJ 7695 7692.

That length of Public Footpath No. 4 Toft which commences at OSGR SJ 7636 7670 and runs in a generally south east direction for approx. 864 m. to OSGR SJ 7674 7593.

That length of Public Footpath No. 11 Toft which commences at OSGR SJ 7636 7670 and runs in a generally east direction for approx. 429 m. to OSGR SJ 7680 7676.

The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public while essential tree works are carried out on or adjacent to the Public Rights of Ways.
