Heathbridge Approach (DZZ) Weybridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Heathbridge Approach (DZZ) Weybridge. This Order is required to facilitate replacement of telecom mast works for, or on behalf of EE. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 09 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure area. Ther is no alternative route for this closure. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
Brook Hill (D194), Brook Lane, and Little London and (D222) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding in that length of; (a) Brook Hill (D194) Albury as extends from its junction with (D222) Brook Lane to its junction with (D194) New Road; (b) Brook Lane (D222) Albury as extends from its junction with (D194) Brook Hill to its junction with (D222) Little London; (c) Little London (D222) Albury as extends from its junction with (D222) Brook Lane to its junction with (D222) Shere Heath Road; (d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Little London, and Brook Lane (D222) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024” in its entirety; (e) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Brook Hill (D194) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024” in its entirety. Alternative Route: (1) Shere Heath Road, Sandy Lane, Hound House Road, Windmill Plain, Horseblock Hollow, Barhatch Lane, Amlets Lane, Mannings Hill, Smithwood Common Road, (B2128) Guildford Road, (B2128) Stroud Common, (B2128) Church Hill, Woodhill Lane, Farley Heath Road, August Lane, and Brook Hill, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate North Down Line upgrade works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 16 nights, between the hours of 23.55pm and 6am, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 13 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclist will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles, will be required to follow the diversion route.
A244 Claremont Lane/A244 Copsem Lane/C158 Milbourne Lane, Esher Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 4 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.
Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Route 1 (Main diversion/Copsem Lane) – A244 Copsem Lane, A244 Warren Lane, A244 High Street, A244 Leatherhead Road, A244 Oxshott Road, C131 Oaklawn Road, A245 Woodlands Road, A245 Woodlands Lane, A245 Stoke Road, A245 Mill Road, A245 High Street, A245 Between Streets, A307 Portsmouth Road, A307 High Street, A244 Church Street (clockwise only due to no right turn), A3009 Esher Green (clockwise only due to no right turn), A307 High Street and A244 Claremont Lane;
Alternative Route 2 (Traffic from Milbourne Lane) – C158 Milbourne Lane, D6835 Littleworth Road, A309 Kingston Bypass, A309 Scilly Isles roundabout, A307 Portsmouth Road, A307 High Street, then either turn into A244 Claremont Lane for north of closure or follow main diversion to get to south of Copsem Lane closure;
Alternative Route 3 (Traffic for Milbourne Lane) – follow main diversion then head north on A307 High Street, A309 Scilly Isle roundabout, A309 Kingston Bypass eastbound, About turn at Claygate Lane roundabout, A309 Kingston Bypass westbound, D6835 Littleworth Road and C158 Milbourne Lane.

1. that length of A244 Claremont Lane and A244 Copsem Lane, Esher which extends from the junction with Charlotte Court to a point 10m south of Haymeads Drive;
2. that length of Milbourne Lane, Esher which extends from its junction with Claremont Lane and Copsem Lane to a point 20m in an easterly direction. Various in Elmbridge
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.5) 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.

1. that length of A3050 Hurst Road, West Molesey which extends from its junction with New Road to its junction with Buckingham Avenue. Alternative Route – A3050 Hurst Road, A305 River Bank, B3379 Bridge Road, B369 Walton Road and A3050 Hurst Road;
2. (a) the entire length of D3815 Access Road for 42 to 74 Terrace Road, Walton-on-Thames; and (b) that length of D3815 The Grove, Walton-on-Thames which extends from its junction with A3050 Terrace Road and a point 5m south of its junction with D3815 Access Road for 42 to 74 Terrace Road. There is no diversion route available for this road closure as it is anticipated that A3050 Terrace Road will be closed at the same time;
3. the entire length of C161 St Leonards Road, Thames Ditton.
Alternative Route – A307 Portsmouth Road, B364 Giggs Hill Road, B364 Watts Road and C160 High Street.
D7009 Derwent Road Footpath, Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians and/or other traffic proceeding on foot or by any means from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D7009 Derwent Road Footpath, Egham. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway slurry works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 6 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole means of access to any premises will be affected. There is no alternative route available for this closure.
D5400 Hare Lane, Farncombe Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D5400 Hare Lane, Farncombe. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works and/or major maintenance, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 2 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Various in Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement works and/or any other associated gas works, within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 September 2025 and is anticipated to be carried out between 8am and 5pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so by road plates and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of roads specified or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

1. that length of D5433 Ashtead Lane, Godalming which extends from its junction
with Tuesley Lane to a point 60m west of its junction with Admiral Way. Works are
anticipated to be carried out between 29/09/2025 and 11/11/2025.
Alternative Route – Pullman Lane, Shackstead Lane, Tuesley Lane and Ashtead Lane;
2. that length of D5405 Busbridge Lane, Godalming which extends from its junction with Tuesley Lane to its junction with Park Road. Works are anticipated to be carried out as follows:- (a) between Park Road and Crownpits Lane and is anticipated to be in force between 01/09/2025 and 08/09/2025.
Alternative Route – Park Road, Tuesley Lane and Ramsden Road; (b) between Crownpits Lane and Oakdene Road and is anticipated to be in force between 08/09/2025 and 15/09/2025.
Alternative Route – Park Road, Tuesley Lane and Ramsden Road; (c) between the Oakdene Road and outside No.30 Busbridge Lane and is anticipated to be in force between 15/09/2025 and 22/09/2025.
Alternative Route – Park Road, Tuesley Lane and Ramsden Road; and (d) between Summerhouse Road and Tuesley Lane and is anticipated to be in force between 10/11/2025 and 24/11/2025. Alternative Route – Ramsden Road and Tuesley Lane;
3. that length of D5429 Crownpits, Godalming which extends from its junction with Busbridge Lane to a point 50m north-eastwards. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 01/09/2025 and 08/09/2025. Alternative Route – Grosvenor Road and Busbridge Lane;
4. that length of D5429 Grosvernor Road, Godalming which extends from its junction with Busbridge Lane to a point 50m north-eastwards. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 08/09/25 and 15/09/25.
Alternative Route – Crownpits Lane and Busbridge Lane;
5. that length of D5432 Minster Road, Godalming which extends (a) the northern arm, from its junction with Tuesley Lane to a point 50m eastwards; (b) the southern arm, from its junction with Tuesley Lane to a point 50m eastwards. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 01/09/2025 and 05/10/2025.
Alternative Route – Tuesley Lane and Minster Road;
6. the entire length of D5428 Oakdene Road, Godalming. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 20/10/2025 ang 07/11/2025. Alternative Route – Tuesley Lane, Park Road and Busbridge Lane;
7. that length of D5432 Park Chase, Godalming which extends (a) the western arm, from its junction Quartermile Road to a point 70m southwards and is anticipated to be in force between 06/10/2025 and 13/10/2025; (b) the eastern arm, from its junction with Quartermile Road to a point 55m southwards and is anticipated to be in force between 13/10/2025 and 20/10/2025.
Alternative Route – Quatermile Road and Park Chase;
8. that length of D5407 Quartermile Road, Godalming which extends from its junction with Tuesley Lane to its junction with Busbridge Lane. Works are anticipated to be carried out as follows:- (a) between Tuesley Lane and Maplehatch Close and is anticipated to be in force between 29/09/2025 and 06/10/2025; (b) between Maplehatch Close and outside No.37 and is anticipated to be in force between 06/11/2025 and 13/10/2025; and (c) between Busbridge Lane and outside No.39 and is anticipated to be in force between 13/10/2025 and 27/10/2025.
Alternative Route – Home Farm Road, Brighton Road, Park Road and Tuesley Lane;
9. the entire length of D5428 Ramsden Road, Godalming. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 22/09/2025 and 13/10/2025.
Alternative Route – Busbridge Lane, Oakedene Road and Tuesley Lane;
10. that length of D5428 Summerhouse Close, Godalming which extends from its junction with Summerhouse Road to a point 15m northwards. Works are anticipated to be carried out between 27/10/2025 and 03/11/2025. Due to the road being a cul-de-sac, access will be maintained at all times but may be restricted at certain times;
11. the entire length of D5428 Summerhouse Road, Godalming. Works are anticipated to be carried out as follows:- (a) between Brightlands and Summerhouse Close and is anticipated to be in force between 03/11/2025 and 10/11/2025; (b) between Summerhouse Close and outside Orchard House and is anticipated to be in force between 20/10/2025 and 03/11/2025; and (c) between Busbridge Lane (the eastern arm) and outside Orchard House and is anticipated to be in force between 03/10/2025 and 20/10/2025. Alternative Route – Busbridge Lane and Summerhouse Road.
Pine Grove (D3889) Weybridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Pine Grove (D3889) Weybridge as extends from its junction with (D3890) Daneswood Close to its junction with (X67361) Angas Court. Alternative Route – Pine Grove; Hanger Hill; Princes Road; and Pine Grove. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 26 September 2025 is required to facilitate telegraph pole replacement and/or cabling works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of BT Openreach within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over one day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via operatives on site. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24 hour period.
D307 Selsdon Road, Addlestone Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 27 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D307 Selsdon Road, Addlestone. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate surface dressing works and/or major maintenance, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Alternative Route – C130 Scotland Bridge Road, B385 Woodham Lane, D3070 Farleigh Road and D3070 Keston Avenue.
Various in Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.5) 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice; and (b) revoke “Surrey County Council Various Roads in Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.4) 2024” only insofar as it relates to the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate fine milling, carriageway treatment, footway reconstruction and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises, including emergency service vehicle access, within the length of roads specified or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

1. (a) the entire length of D4013 Glendale Drive, Guildford; and (b) that length of D4013 Winterhill Way, Guildford which extends from its junction with Glendale Drive westwards for a distance of 65m.
Alternative Route 1 (Glendale Drive) – B2234 New Inn Lane, A3100 London Road, D4013 Great Oaks Park and D4013 Gosden Hill Road; Alternative Route 2 (Winterhill Way) A3100 London Road and B234 New Inn Lane;
2. the entire length of D4013 Gosden Hill Road, Guildford.
Alternative Route – B2234 New Inn Lane, A3100 London Road, D4013 Great Oaks Park and D4013 Oak Hill;
3. the entire lengths of the northern and southern arm of D4013 Upfolds Green, Guildford. Alternative Route – D4013 Glendale Drive and D4013 Gosden Hill Road.
