What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 28/8/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

Bearstone Rd, London Rd, Willoughbridge Ln, Mucklestone Rd and B5415 From Ln To Blore Heath To County Boundary, Knighton.

For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144366048. The Order will come into operation on 8/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the roads have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Church St, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one. network/?tm=144099188. The Order will come into operation on 8/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 
It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/11/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the development works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Tavistock Crescent, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144094601. The Order will come into operation on 10/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit along:

Willoughbridge Ln, Winnington. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=144306757. The Order will come into operation on 22/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 26/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Lower Rd, Ashley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144312622. 

The Order will come into operation on 26/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Park Ln, Ashley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144269948. 
The Order will come into operation on 23/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
