STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

MADELEY ROAD (30 MPH) AND WOODSIDE (30 MPH) AND HOLLY BUSH LANE (40 MPH) AND NEWCASTLE ROAD (40 MPH) (30 AND 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**

Staffordshire County Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to impose a 30 MPH speed limit on Madeley Road and Woodside and a 40 MPH Holly Bush Lane and Newcastle. Documents may be examined during office hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, ST16 2DH, during opening hours at Clayton Library or via: https://consultation.appyway.com/newcastle-under-lyme. Comments can be sent via the link above or in writing to: Traffic and Network Management, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, ST16 2DH no later than 22/9/25 quoting reference D0265D and stating the grounds on which they are made.

MADELEY ROAD AND NEWCASTLE ROAD, BALDWINS GATE) (PROHIBITION OF LEFT AND RIGHT TURN) ORDER 20**
Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 to prevent a vehicle travelling in a easterly direction along Madeley Road from making a right turn onto Newcastle Road, and to also prevent a vehicle travelling easterly along Newcastle Road from making a left turn onto Madeley Road. Documents may be examined during opening hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and at Clayton Library or via https://consultation.appyway.com/newcastleunder-lyme. (HASSELL STREET, NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER, 2025
Staffordshire County Council on the 28/8/25 has made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prevent you from driving your vehicle in an easterly direction on Hassell Street, Newcastle-Under-Lyme direction on Hassell Street, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Newcastle Library or at https:// consultation.appy.com/newcastle-under-lyme/. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 1/9/25.

(NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) ORDER NO 3 (AMENDMENT) NO. 86/2025
Staffordshire County Council on 28/8/25 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce and amend parking restrictions on Windsor Street, Scott Street and Hassell Street. Documents may be examined during opening hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and at Newcastle Library or via: https://consultation.appy. com/newcastle-under-lyme/Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. 
The Order will commence on 1/9/25.
