Apperley Bridge, Temporary Road Closure Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL GREENLEA ROAD / GILL LANE, APPERLEY BRIDGE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Greenlea Road/Gill Lane, Apperley Bridge has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Greenlea Road/Gill Lane from its junction with Footpath No. 72 Bradford North to its junction with Gill Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Gill Lane (unaffected section), New Road, Greenlea Avenue, Greenlea Road (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 2nd September 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 4th September 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
