Windmill Street, Deansgate Ward - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic For A Crane Lift

TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC145321870: The City of Manchester (Windmill Street, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Windmill Street between Southmill Street and Watson Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Southmill Street, Peter Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a crane lift. It is expected that the works will be in progress on 16th September 2025. The order shall come into operation on 16th September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 2nd September 2025.
ORDER NO. MCC145359042: The City of Manchester (Berwyn Avenue, Higher Blackley Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Berwyn Avenue From Munn Road to number 2 Berwyn Avenue .The alternative routes for traffic will be: N/A). The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Utility Works . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 13th September 2025 to 13th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00. The order shall come into operation on 13th September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
