What is happening?

THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL

(REAR EAST PINES DRIVE 36 TO 56)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 29 August 2025 the Blackpool Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers to allow for excavation of a joint bay with track in the footway and carriageway to install and joint High voltage cable connection for Anchorsholme School. The effect of the Order will be to:

(a) Prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding in any direction along the length of Rear East Pines Drive 36 to 56 between its junction with Seabrook Drive and its junction with the rear of 36 Eastpines Drive. Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained wherever possible. All diversion routes will be clearly signed and maintained on site. The proposed Order will commence on 08th day of September 2025 and continue in force for eighteen months or until the sooner completion of the aforesaid works. It is expected that the works will take 12 days.
