Beverley Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Gas Mains Replacement Works

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL 
Beverley Road, Anlaby (part) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Beverley Road, Anlaby (between 202 Beverley Road & Springfield Way roundabout). The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed gas mains replacement works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. 
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 October 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Beverley Road, Haltemprice Roundabout, South Ella Way, Gorton Road, Gorton Road Roundabout, Kingston Road, Willerby Square Roundabout, Great Gutter Lane Roundabout, Willerby Roundabout, Humber Bridge Northern Approach Road, Riplingham Road Roundabout, Swanland Roundabout, Tranby Lane, Anlaby. The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for the emergency services. The Order will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
