The Dorset Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping And Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No.8) (Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 5th September 2025 the effect of the Order will be to:

  • Introduce no waiting at any time and no loading at any time restrictions on main parts of Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers

  • Revoke the current no waiting restrictions outside of 92-94 Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers

  • Revoke the school keep clear restrictions along Wareham Road, outside Lytchett Matravers Primary School

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Orders come into operation on 5th September 2025 the effect of the Orders will be:

Order one will be to introduce the following restrictions:

  • Revoke sections along of the current waiting restrictions along St Mary’s Road, Ferndown.

  • Introduce no waiting at any time and no loading at any time restrictions along parts of Church Road and St Mary’s Road, Ferndown.

Order two will be to introduce the following restrictions:

  • Introduce a prohibition of entry (except for pedal cyclists) at Albert Road, Ferndown

The Dorset Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping And Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No. 6) (Burt’s Hill, Wimborne) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 5th September 2025 the effect of the Order will be to revoke the school keep clear restrictions along Burt’s Hill, Wimborne, outside Wimborne First School and add a length of no waiting at any time restrictions on the northern side of Burt’s Hill.

Temporary Traffic Management Order, Various Roads, Longham

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 8th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th September 2025.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of the Order is as follows:

  • [i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Christchurch Road, Longham and Ham Lane, Longham as indicated by signs on site.

  • [ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Christchurch Road, Longham and Ham Lane, Longham.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 23rd September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29th September 2025.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

  • [i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Burnbake Road, Verwood as indicated by signs on site.
