Southfield, Hessle - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Enable Patching Works to Be Carried Out
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC Southfield, Hessle (part)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Southfield, Hessle (between Woodfield Lane & 26 Southfield, Hessle) commencing Monday 15 September 2025 (between 08:00 am & 4pm) to enable patching works to be carried out.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 September 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: The remainder of Southfield & Woodfield Lane, Hessle.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will remain open for Pedestrians; Residents access & the Emergency Services only.
