What is happening?

NOTICE OF MAKING ORDER THE EAST STAFFORDSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2017 (VARIATION) (NO. 3) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that East Staffordshire Borough Council (“the Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 35 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers has made the above-named Order (“the Order”) which varies the previous (The East Staffordshire Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2017 (Variation) (No. 2) Order 2024), on the date that the Order comes into force. The Order will come into effect on 1st September 2025. The Effect of the Order will be to designate the following locations: Waterside Community Centre Car Park, Carver Road Community Centre Car Park, Queen Street Community Centre Car Park and Uttoxeter Heath Community Centre Car Park as off-street parking places within the scope of the East Staffordshire Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2017. Additionally, the Order amends the enforcement plans for The Maltings Car Park and Town Hall Car Park. A copy of the Order and affected Car Park plans may be examined on the Notice Board at the Council Offices: Burton Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB. An electronic copy of the order can be viewed on the Councils website through the following link: https://www.eaststaffsbc. gov.uk/parking-and-roads Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any of its provisions may do so by making an application to the High Court within 6 weeks of making the Order.
